Ken Miles 550 Spyder?
Came across a pic of "Competition Motors" Hollywood service center off Highland Ave. with 3 mechanics re-installing the 4 cam motor in Ken Miles' 550 spyder. Obviously Ken really made his mark with Shelby, but does anybody have any info on this 550?

I think Ken Miles made his mark long before his association with Carol Shelby. He won with his MG specials, the R1 and the R2, then with the Pooper. He was president of the Cal Club when it was a competitor of the SCCA. He was enticed to drive the Spyder because Porsche was tired of his beating them with his specials, he didn't own a Spyder. It was only after a brilliant career in small bore cars, and Southern California racing politics, that he was bought by the dark side.
