Hi Everyone,
Mine is a '61 T5 1600 Super - I googled paint colors and read the Super's were painted silver (ours is Silver).
The engine shroud pieces have been sandblasted and ready to prime - just wondering if there's a rattle can silver color and what brand might be available at a local auto parts store that will come close to what the factory used to paint the shroud.
Planning to paint engine compartment flat or matte black unless anyone knows different.
Thanks much
Ken

Here's a specially matched silver to the fan shroud in a spray can https://www.stoddard.com/nla09504000.html

Tom,
It's should be a metalic silver for a Super shroud; Light gray for the C series.

Thanks everyone! Metallic silver it is! Using a Dupli-color Ford Silver/Charcoal and base coat is a high temp engine paint Dupli-color light grey.

Lots of discussion about this through the years. Here’s a scan of a photo taken in 1976, showing 700-118 Super in 201-641 Karmann Hardtop Coupe; at the time, it had 19,000 miles on it.Dick Weiss wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 11:30 pm Tom,
