Euro heater tube
Guys,
I'm trying to find a source for the paper euro heater tube that supplies hot air to the heater valve, and I'm having no luck. The euro tube is a larger diameter and longer than the US heater tube, and no one seems to carry it. Does anyone have a source for these? Remember it's the tube under the engine, not the long one that goes from the fan shroud to underneath.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Ned,
The same 60mm hose is used between the heater box nose--either the snout exists for the 356, or the short nose used on the 912 hooped over the axle tubes; If the heat control box exists w/a 50mm entry, add a short piece of 50mm hose (as a reducing sleeve) inside the 60mm hose end to fit the valve's entry.
Otherwise, the 60mm hose will fit the 60mm valve's entry. (There are 3-different Euro heat control valves)

OOPS; After the words 912 I missed a comma and the 60mm hose is looped--

Thanks guys. I was hoping we had a supplier closer than the UK, but I'll figure this one out.

Here's a picture of an original hose with the Porsche part number
I wrote an article in the Registry magazine a couple of years ago that gave the inside diameters of the two ends
Added by edit - article ran summer or fall of 2017 - I have a very weak internet connection, so can't look it up ...

Ned, What heater valve do you have? Photos below. Correct paper hose for neither is not presently available. However, If you need the straight 60 x 250 hose, then order Porsche 901-211-194-01 which is 60 x 380 (cut is down) or VW 211-261-236-A which is 60 x 530 (cut in halves).

AFAIK, there is no 65 mm paper hose being manufactured today. My suggestion has been to buy 1 x 616-211-295-01 60 mm hose and cut a short length and split it carefully and glue it over to create an end which is 65 mm. The cut/slit can go on the top side where is can't be seen once installed. The 65 mm end goes on the valve; the 60 mm end goes to the heat exchanger.

Ben, thanks for finding my post from four years ago. And to all, sorry for the repetition of the drawing above.
