Unusual Wiring Set Up

#1 Post by Eric McKinley »

I was browsing ebay US this morning and came across this 356C being offered for sale.

It has an extremely unusual wiring set up under the front hood.

I think someone is having fun with a spare electrical control assembly out of an electrical panel. Just lay it in the trunk and take a picture then post it on the net. Should make a good talking point. If it is still a 6 volt system it will probably kill the cars electrics as soon as it is switched on. My bet is it has something to do with a sound system. I knew a guy who spent a fortune on one of those sound blaster systems that he went to contests with to see who had the loudest sound system. His van was soundproofed because if not it would deafen people outside. It seemed to me to be as pointless as drifting races.
If I had known I would live this long I would have pushed the envelope a little harder.

Dave,

If I hadn't seen it myself I wouldn't have believed it.
It is one of the Beverly Hills car club cars for sale at the moment
