One more Question as far as greasing.. There doesn't seam to be much back pressure as I see grease come out around the link pin, but I don't see it come out around
the Kingpin. I tightened all the linkpins and backed off a little, maybe too much? Or could it be new kingpins and bushing are nice and tight hard for the grease to get through..

Oh, I bought these on eBay..
 Thanks,
Bill

Re: Question about link pins

The Porsche factory used needle bearings in two or more distinct situations that did not allow the roller bearings to make a complete revolution resulting in a groove that did not allow the shaft to easily rotate. The first is the G50 transmission shaft for the release bearing and the second is for the 944 Clutch release shaft. In the G50 style release bearing the Porsche factory made a kit that required the modification of the transmission case to plain bearings to eliminate the grooving of the release shaft. Zim's developed a kit that replaced the needle bearings shafts without modifying the transmission, we have sold 5705 kits to date. The factory has always been in a better position to care for their cars. Not only were parts immediately available, engineers able to correct design deficiencies and exceptionally well trained technicians to service car as racing vehicles. I am sure after each race the cars suspension was stripped and everything measured It did not matter about the condition of the roller bearings on the link pins because they were replaced. Will you do this ever 5,000 miles? Now for the BAD NEWS parts made in third world countries are not exactly to factory specifications. No one who is purchasing the parts wholesale has anyone there checking the parts. Those of you that do your own suspension work assume that your not so new parts are within specification. It has been an eye opening experience how many machine shop modifications are necessary to make the parts conform to factory specifications. al zim, 800.356.2964, call me if you have a question 2019/06/11
