Anyone use a QuickJack for their 356?

#1 Post by Emil Wojcik »

Unless someone says these aren't usable for a 356 I'm ordering one today. Anybody have any input?

After doing some more measuring, it looks like the 5,000 lb unit is too long to fit between the tires and the 3,500 lb one isn't long enough to reach any solid lift points under the car. So looks like I'll have to go another way.

I have a set of the 5,000lbs QJ's I had bought to work on my other vehicles without measuring the 356.. I'm determined to make something work.. I reached out to QJ via email and they have asked me to call in as they might have some sort of adapter.

Thanks, Adam, please let me know if you end up being able to use them! I was thinking perhaps they can be used side-to-side rather than front-to-back but not sure they'd fit that way either.

I use the same method on my #56 as I do on my formula race car. I place the quick jacks down each side of the car and run 2x 2 stack of 6 by 10 across the bottom of the car under the ack points and life from there.

Stephen, could you add a picture of this whenever possible?
This seems like the only answer

I've considered your method, Stephan, and was wondering if it could work. A photo would be greatly appreciated if you ever get the chance.

I am on the road right now driving home from the California Mille. When I am back, I will set it up but without a car on it. Probably in the next week or so.
