Installing horn ring

#1 Post by John Wurner »

Need help on the installation of an A horn ring.
I have the kit from Stoddard but no instructions on the sequence of installation, and my shop manual does not show it.
Could not find it on the resource section.

John, is not complicated. You must isolate the ring from any ground. That is what the rubber ring is for. Adjusting the ring so it will ground is the tricky part. There must be someone in the group that has pictures. …...Jim.

Hi Jim
Pictures would be great, since there are two rubber rings and a number of other pieces.

I wrestled with this one a couple of years ago. These pics might help a little.
