I've had the same pieces rechromed. The quarter window frames need to be disassembled but I haven't unscrewed the hinges from the frame. I just separate the two hinge pieces. I haven't chromed the hinge pin but some people do. If you do have it chromed, just do the head otherwise it might not fit back in the hinge.

The shop I use can chrome the window cranks with the knobs still attached. Otherwise, you have to drill them out and get the retro knob kit.

The hood handle is easily chromed but you may lose some of the definition of the ribs on the verticle face. The rest of the pieces are easy and straight forward.

By the way, on the 356 abcgt website there is an excellent tutorial on quarter window frames.

Hold on--- make sure you are spending money restoring original parts. You have some reproduction parts there. Look at the two window winders. The chrome part on the two of them is not the same. The one with the bent nose at the connection end is an original. The other one is VW! Also check for the HUFF marking at the bottom (wide end) back side of the hood handle. If it doesn't say HUFF- reproduction.
Keep asking questions, we are here to help.

On window and door handles, both inside and out, I use repro handles, and new, or restored knobs. I've never been called out, even at large concourse …..Jim.

Suggest you first clean the parts and then use a chrome polish to decide which are still acceptable, and which to re-chrome.

Keep in mind also that if you re-chrome some parts, the non re-chromed really stand out. Probably all parts should be chromed in same place at the same time to get same color. Mark the parts so you know what are pairs. These are hand fitted parts.
The rear window instructions at ABCGT are good as Mike wrote, they are tricky to re-assemble. At least they was to me.
