Good news!
Your 356 mechanicals will now last a lifetime. Jack always does some of the best work on these components. Again, happy he is back in the PNW.

Glad your happy with the car: I seen it. A few weeks ago what a beautiful car. These car run and handle unbelievably when every is is sink. I think that y we we love then so much. Once Jack is done you well have years of enjoyment driving it. Glad you’re happy with the work. We are lucky to have a person like Jack in the northwest.

Re: Engine Rebuilder in the Pacific NW or Utah or Idaho ish ?
So.. after a few false starts with others, I ended up at Jack Morris in Washington.. and it was a treat from day one. I knew I had a transmission problem (see other post) I also knew that my engine was simply not right.. and it was not.
Good news is that Jack and his apprentice - Cole Bradburn (and Jack Jr) did an amazing job of rebuilding the engine, I think to better than new standards. it sure makes the car fun to drive again !! When I can to pick the car up, it was well sorted out, they had already done the correct start up on the engine stand, then in the car, sorted out, took it for a 200 mile test drive, final adjustments, then I was down the road home for a 400 mile drive home.
drive was fantastic, went up all the hills of Washington and the foothills of Alberta. Notice the oil temperature, nice and cool.
Wow- great to drive the car again..
And it did not leak, spew, drip, drop any oil or trans fluid, just some good steady driving.
Thanks Jack Morris and Cole (and Jack Jr)
I will post some pics of the engine a bit later.

Very nice looking and I'm sure it runs the same way.
Jack must have been hanging on to that Euro-Spec filter for a while, but he's bright enough to buy for the discount.
