Happy birthday 107399

#1 Post by Nanette Reid »

My pride and joy turned 60 yesterday and I took her out to shoot in front of some of the 50s retro buildings around town.

Met a guy who owns a 1979 911SC as I was setting a shot - - he parked up and we had a great chat.

Easter Monday, and unseasonably warm weather, brought out people and cars in Adelaide, even another 59 A coupe.

Here’s to the next milestone!!

Wonderful photos of a beautiful car! I used to own the second to last A coupe, #108916, which is now in Australia. Maybe you will meet up one of these days!

Sadly no - my oven died last week and only getting the new one fitted on Friday! So I’m baking on the weekend instead. Never too late for cookies; I’m sure the little car will forgive me. :P

Well done Nanette. If the rain ever stops here in QLD I am out too. Working on a friend’s 71 911 to keep me occupied. My 356 spent almost all of its life in Adelaide after purchase from Hamilton’s.

Could you send some here, we’ve forgotten what that stuff called “rain” looks like.

Thanks everyone - will be taking her out again ASAP; with winter approaching I’ve got to get my fix before hibernation.

After reading the previous thread I think you should have had a full flow filter on the oven.
