Anyone recognize this throttle pedal?
I recently acquired a 50 year accumulation of 356 parts. It included a few pre-A pieces, but mostly A & B parts. I've know what most of the parts are but I can't place these two gas pedals with an extension off of the mount. Possibly VW of some sort?

Re: Anyone recognize this throttle pedal?
Not a VW type I remember. All mine I believe had no physical connection to the pedal, just a roller that the pedal rested on.
If I had known I would live this long I would have pushed the envelope a little harder.

My Speedster is one of those '56 'almost-A' cars; it has one like that.

Yeah, that's a pre-A bent-window gas pedal.

In thinking about it, the change-over came when the factory moved the clutch cable inside the tunnel, and deleted the plywood floor boards. There was no fastening to the pan with the floor boards in the way, so the throttle was fastened to the two 'gussets' which support the toe-board.
