Dimensions needed for screws attaching turn switch to clolumn

#1 Post by Gordon Watkins »

In reassembling my steering column I'm missing the three small "filester" screws which attach the turn signal assembly to the steering column. The small one, 644-347-763-05, is available, but the other two, 644-347-764-05, are NLA. The parts catalogue does not give a dimension. Does anyone know either the correct dimensions so I can perhaps source them elsewhere, or otherwise know where I might purchase these tiny little suckers?

TIA

contact Doug Feistamel. He has the screws. info@type356a.com
Doug knows everything about that switch and if you get on his list he will rebuild it.
I got these screws from Doug and I'm still in the line for a switch rebuild.

I don't see 644-347-764-05 in Klasse's catalog but have inquired and will also contact type356a. Thanks for the suggestions.

You also might check with Wolfsburg West as VW's used the same switch up to 1960.

Just to confirm and close this thread, both type356a and Klasse356 have these screws.

I don't think there's much of anything that can't be found with the assistance of this fine group. Thanks!
