53 Pre-A on eBay

#1 Post by Joe Bakhos »

Was wondering if anyone knew this car. eBay, no reserve. Someone is going to steal this.

Looks this one:

Odd that someone would spend that kind of money then list on ebay at no reserve.

Bid carefully. I would be suspicious that the seller's account might have been hijacked. Check the feedback rating, nothing car-related and no recent activity. If he's legit, it would be awesome.

I don't believe it either. He says to look at the COA yet none is pictured. He says a "split case engine was rebuilt for 7,500". That seems way low to me unless he did it himself and I see no signs of his ebay profile dealing in auto parts. Quite odd for someone who is into cars and uses ebay to not buy auto related items.

Looks a LOT like the one that Checkered Flag sold not too long ago. (note the far right beehive is out of line.... ) Pretty sure I can tell you exactly where that car is right now....

This is a scam ad! A friend of mine has this car in his shop for some fine tuning. I have alerted the owner and he is going to contact e-bay

Thank you Joris. "Buy the seller not the car". Very few deals out there, I've paid full fair value for cars I've purchased for the past 10/15 years. The internet??? ……………..Jim.

Thank you very much Joris for that information

I often wonder how much people would bid or buy things which do not exist or are posted from scammers... if this platform would not exist and people would not care about other people.
The people here and that platform is saving a lot of money... so cool to see that nobody is bidding seriously. Hahahaha

Thx again and keep the faith :-)

Well, I know where the real one is, but if someone actually bid on this there are going to be some interesting stories coming right up....
