I picked the engine up a few days back from PRS.

I am very happy with the results.

Every engine completed has a time lapse video completed, link below.

Eric,

Great video! Wish we could get them done so quickly. I am sure you will be happy with your engine rebuilt by PRS. Jack, the fellow that started the restoration on your car some years back would be very happy to see what you have done with the car since then. As recently discussed in another thread, it sometimes takes more than one owner of a restoration project to get it eventually finished. Seems you are nearing the finish line. Nicely done!

My Speedster has engine 754547, I believe that is an early 912 as well?
I do have the original as well.

Yes the guys do great work, both mat and Paul are good guys.

Eric, your right it would be good to get in touch with Jack, I don’t think he is on the radar, I tried a few years back.

Beautiful engine Eric, but don't keep David Pateman and me in suspense. What is the build number on the left case boss?

Wes, I had a look where you mentioned.

These are the numbers I found, are these the correct ones.

117899 616/40

Thanks Eric. Yes, those are about what David and I expected. 616/40 means it was in the last series of 912 engines that were built. The 117899 build number is a little higher than either David or I guessed (11780 and 117888), but close enough. Thanks for posting. Enjoy breaking in that newly rebuilt engine.
