62 Cab Boot for top

#1 Post by jerry and kathy smalley »

Does anyone have a pattern for the fastners on the car. My car was restored some years ago and I guess they welded them shut. Would like to install the fastners in a slightly different location to avoid drilling into a weld. Thanks.

Use you old boot as a patern for a template. If using a new boot, show some photos to your upolstry guy he will make it fit.

Where are you located? (our website doesn't require location, so then we ask you later to add it). I've got an old boot you could use if you are near me (Boston). Autos' Int. has a standard pattern so my guess is that if you buy a new boot from them (without snaps) they can send you a pattern for the original layout. Double check that your old holes have been welded shut in case the car never had them. Tom
