Zenith air filter housing

#1 Post by Nate Greene »

One of the tabs on the housing top has broken off so that the latch will no longer hold the top down over the filter. Anyone have an idea how to repair this or should I be looking for a replacement?

It would be pretty easy to make a new tab and weld it on, but there are probably more surviving air cleaners than engines, you might easily find one to buy.

Duct tape... ;-) Seriously, go online or to a Porsche swap meet. If you are out here in SoCal, the first weekend in March should help you out.

$40 then you can re-sell the lower part and your old top and recover your cost.
