I bought a 1964 356 and it came with two sets of seats for what ever reason.
Any idea what model year is pictured?

Re: Identify these seats?
The photo of the top of the seat back in your first post, shows a pair of circular holes for the headrest. That is an early 911/912 seat.

thanks!Robert Vaughan wrote:The photo of the top of the seat back in your first post, shows a pair of circular holes for the headrest. That is an early 911/912 seat.
I assumed they were 1968 911 seats because that was the first year of the optional headrest that mounted on the top.
So i assume the other seats are original to my car.

Re: Identify these seats?
The 356 seats are narrower by an inch or two than the 900 series ones. The recliner lever type and absence of smooth rivets on the outside appear to be correct for a 1964.

Re: Identify these seats?
For the second set of seats, I believe it's T6.
* Recline lever pointing towards door means T5 or later
* If forward / back slider has black knob (can't see in photo) this is T6
You could additionally look at the bottom of the seat rail. T6 have u-shaped cross section and both bolts and rivets connecting it to seat
The inside of most seat hinges have a 4-digit date code with month and year of manufacture. You will probably have to remove the hinge from the seat to read it.
I'm not claiming to be an expert. Just what I've learned, mostly from folks on this forum, and believe to be correct looking for T5 seats.

Re: Identify these seats?
Those are 64 seats. 64 seat hinges are "one year only" as mentioned by another person in this thread. The headrest seats are 68 and are "one year only", as well.tom collingwood wrote:Here is the other seats. Any idea if these are 1964?

I recognized those as 64 only after reading an old posting of Jim B's .
