Building an engine and want to use ( on hand ) a lightly used Porsche 200 mm flywheel.
I realize that the 180 mm set up is adequate but since I already have a good 200mm factory flywheel makes sense to use it.
Vic uses the Kennedy pressure plates and that sounds like the way to go. My question is does the flywheel need to have material removed as stated earlier to make the clearance workable with the 59A gearbox or has Kennedy taken that into account.
Also what throwbearing with this setup.
Thanks Max H

Ok think I got this covered. Ordered a 200mm stage 1 Kennedy prssure plate with collar along with their matching disk. The best throw out brg is still in question.

The throwout bearing would be the standard "A" type.
