I read about this car. I, too, wonder where it went.

Would be a good find for the Corvair Club member?

Where's Brett? T-1 coupe with mirror access holes in doors. No paint code on door jamb.

T-1 with teardrop taillights. Couldn't have been too many of those.

If you go to the Studebaker Museum in South Bend Indiana in the basement is a Studebaker Lark with a Porsche super engine in the trunk attached to a VW bus gearbox with gear reduction axles. When the snow lifts someone should go to the museum and post some pictures. al zim On a second look, it is a 12 volt engine in a 6 volt car. The combo gauge will not work because there is no place to put the temp sensor. A resistor could be used on the gas tank part of the gauge but that is not necessary since there is a reserve petcock on the tank. I would lie to have seen how they attached the axles.

must be one of the first six digit coupes, one of 1,692 T1 with teardrops. This is probably 1000xx, with tear drops but with and a single overrider bar in the back. looks like there are 2 cars, or maybe they painted it after the 'butt lift'? Nice way to get some extra room in the engine bay however!

Ibrahim,
How did you get those nice images into the website. Are they scanned from photographic enlargments, prints?
