Hey guys
Having an issue with my radio dials on my Blau radio.
Can’t seem to get set screwS tight enough to hold dials on shaft
Anybody have a source for new set screws or what size they may be??

Do you have the notched or D-shaped shafts? The D-shaped shafts were originally found on 1966 (X-series) or later radios and are intended for press-on knobs. The shafts are too short for the set screws to stay in place for very long.

Do the knobs have one or two screws? Radio knobs have two; quarter window latch knobs have one.

Guys
Shafts are plenty long enough. It’s the set screws that are partially broken so mini driver unable to tighten.

Each knob has just one set screw

Thanks

Stoddard sells new two-screw knobs that are nice but a little pricey. You might find new screws at McMaster Carr.

The single screws are for the quarter window latch knobs.

I just checked eBay and there are a lot of knobs listed but they all look like they only have single screws which are incorrect. Check with Stoddard to make sure theirs have two screws. If not, there are probably other sources for correct knobs.

Hernan at German Auto Radio has the screws you need.
