Been a long time.... muffler options

#1 Post by Chip Steward »

Greetings fellow 356ers. I’m new to the 356 world and have questions.. I’ll start with this one. My 64 coupe has a muffler that sadly resembles a block of Swiss cheese. So I’ve been searching the forum for a replacement. All the information seems to have stopped a couple years ago. I would like to keep the original style. There are Dansk and all their poor fitment issues, Porsche classic has one, NLA has a fancy stainless one, Zims sells the USA made stainless version and then there is the Eisenmann repop. The days of cheap are gone, what I seek is a quality replacement that works. Thoughts....
Thanks for your time!
