Has anyone seen a mech tach with a 7000 max scale? According to Brett's book the early (pre May '64) SCs had a mech tach with 5500-6000 red line and a 7000 max. The pics I've seen of these early SC cars show a 6000 max. Elec tachs were post May '64.
Does anyone have a mech tach like these? Email me if you have one to sell.

I have NEVER seen a mechanical tach with a 7000rpm max scale. Brett needs to correct that.

This came up about 4 years ago and Vic corrected me. I think Brett made the correction in later versions of his book.
