what mounts inside the door jam of 1959A?

I have my 59A body in paint.
What mounts inside the left and right door jam on these two holes?

The bonded rubber blocks that give sort of a detent by rubbing the front edge of the door.

When you Install them you may have to take a little rubber off the end to get the proper friction

Those rubber blocks serve two purposes they hold the doors open when the car is on a slight incline and provide that wonderful "thunk" noise when the door is closed.
