Tie rod end's dust boot

#1 Post by Hugo Karasawa »

I am changing the tie rod ends.
Bought this type of tie rods, these come with a dust boot.
Do I need to install an extra dust boot like the one in the diagram p/n 10 ?
Or with these new tie rods I do not need an extra dust boot ?

Just use as they came...no need to change the boot.

And maybe they will be more durable than the cup style boots as the ones I've bought have all split.
