Stocking stuffer - pinch weld pad

#1 Post by Randy Mittelstet »

I was finally at a computer at the same time I thought about this item!
Always wanted one whenever I jacked up the roadster.
Anyone else out there needing one, this will make it easy for you.
Merry Christmas to all!

Nice Randy. On my hoist, I now use some reinforced pinch weld piping along the body seams. Easy to replace from time to time. However this product looks good value.

Thanks for your post Randy. My hockey pucks are to too hard and don't have a slot. I will definitely get these.

Call me ‘old school’.
As a one time government procurement official, I am often confronted with that age old procurement question, ‘make or buy?’
I chose the former; using scrap leather belt and cross grained oak pallet material.

Where, on a 356, is there a pinch weld to use these on?

Hey Steve,
that would have been a great pic for the "what is it topic".
That's great creativity and re-purposing of resources..... your employer Uncle Sam would be proud.
