1965 SC sold on BaT for $91,500 7/17/17

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1965- ... c-coupe-2/

Now on eBay for $48,000 "Contact the seller" ? Same mileage, ad. You can't bid or buy it now.
You have to ask seller a question ? So is it $48k or what. I've seen eBay ads like this before but what is the deal ?

Thank you, Martin. I just reported it to eBay.
Someone had just asked me about this car in "Warren,MI"
Clues: 19 feedbacks listed, ZERO feedback on his profile, MANY feedbacks further down his page. Kind of suspicious.
And at $48,000 for a $91,500 car, maybe a little too good to be true?

I see the Speedster is back on sale again, listed to a person that joined today. Not sure if it is the same name or not.

They should try their scams elsewhere. We are just not dumb enough here.

I know it's been discussed but perhaps "members" should not be able to post for sale ads immediately upon joining, there should be a probationary period. It would not be foolproof but it would cut down quite a bit on this silliness.

Either that or make this thread a "sticky".

That's a great idea. I've seen other car sites that require several posts before a member can list an ad.
