I've been using Bob Stevens in Tom Drummand's shop. He does beautiful work, and is reachable. Ph. - 1-949-631-7456 x - 3. He works late mornings and afternoon.

Wasn't there a Mr Hernandez that was doing lock repairs and keeping customers very happy? That name or another Hispanic one?

Does anyone have contact to Dan and Alicia? Maybe a phone number. I can't reach them for weeks now.
Thank you for help.

Every weekday we open for business at 8 AM central time. Lunch is at noon and we close for a hour, the phone will be answered but you usually speak to me. From 1:00 PM to 5:30 everyone is back to business. Each item we received is recorded on a sales order. 800.356.2962. Within walking distance (about 4 minutes) someone can deliver your lock to a lock smith that has been in business for 35 years (their second generation). When you inquire someone will promptly have an answer for you. We do not plate or restore hardware, all we make is keys! al zim Zim's Autotechnik

I gave up. I tried so many times to contact Dan. It's months now - without any answer. Without any contact, without a word.
I had to buy another set of handles, locks, hood lock and ignition and renew it at other place. I lost time and my original locks. I am fully disappointed.
Please be careful to avoid being in my situation.

What is it about locksmiths? I feel fortunate to have gotten back my parts from this guy. I smelled a rat and demanded them back, I guess before they decided to close down the scam and didn't want bad press. He(and his wife) were the second "service" to not work on my locks. I really should send out my original stuff again so that I can remove the crappy reproduction parts from my car but I am still gun shy.

Are we still recommending anybody based on recent personal experience?

Years ago yes, not now. I had a very hard time getting my parts back which he had for a year and a half and never touched.
