I love how he says it comes with COA but doesn't show it, why do people do that?

Re: manual sunroof in 1963 C Coupe Possible?
I installed a complete roof clip with a factory sunroof on my 58 coupe many many years ago. It wasn't that difficult and turned out nice. I bought a new clip from Dave Aase back in the mid-70's for $175. About 10 years later, I transferred a ragtop sunroof to a solid 63 VW beetle and visa versa with the solid roof to the donor car. Same technique, removed the windows and made cuts part way down the A-pillars, top of the B-pillars, and along the C-pillars from the rear of the quarter windows to the lower sides of the rear window. The biggest "gatcha's" on the Porsche was severing the spotwelds along the top edge of the windshield. I also had to cut & splice the wire harness that wouldn't pull out of the A-pillar on the VW's. I forget if that was an issue with the Porsche. I think the only wires I had to mess with was for the dome light.
I did the welds on the Porsche with butt-welds and oxy-acetelene. By the time I did the VW's, I used backing strips and TIG welds. Minimum bondo and a heavy primer coat.

Bruce Baker was kind enough in retirement to find and send to me this picture of an SC with manual crank sunroof that he did a PPI on with original owner in attendence. Guess what ? No drain holes in the C Pillars

The BAT car did not have a sunroof when it left the plant. German delivery car. Nice driver but good luck trying to prove authenticity.
