Porsche Text Valve Covers

#1 Post by Mark Sabbann »

This valve cover is on a VW engine in a repro Speedster, currently for sale online. It almost looks like a 4-cam cover and appears to be mounted with slotted screws. Has anyone seen one of these before?

Hi Mark
One of the foundries I used had the patterns for these they eventually went to the makers of fiberglass speedsters for the VW engines they would use.

There was a guy at a local VW show in San Diego selling them for I think $100 for the pair? Brand new.
