Beverly Hills Car Club is no jokester outfit! They are purveyors of some very fine European mechanical artwork. How do they offer so much value for only $15.750?

Last year at a local car show, a guy from Beverly Hills Car Club attempted to buy my '64 coupe. I told him I'm not selling. He tried for about 10 minutes to convince me to sell, upping the offer a few times, eventually offering what I considered full retail. No idea if he would have followed through had I said yes, but if they're really paying the prices I was offered for my car, it explains why they ask so much when selling.

Checking their website in the past, they would probably have listed my car for at least $10K more than they offered me...and that's at least $10K more than it was worth.

Looking at the deformation of the dash in front of the driver I would guess that the driver perished. So probably not the "same owner for many years" they refer to.

"Exciting project" indeed.

would actually be a lot easier to fix the wreck than rust, and looks very rust free. Great price if it still had all of its parts, but as a stripped shell, way too much

There is so much to have to fix just to get to a decent restoration starting point, that I wouldn't take it if it were free. I can't stand that much excitement......

I would not have classed it as a "horror movie" as CJ commented but more in the vein of a "science fantasy" maybe with a comic twist. Like Wes said even if it came for free you would still be upside down on it even if the level you finished it too was as a daily driver and you did it yourself and painted it with a roller with hardware paint.
If I had known I would live this long I would have pushed the envelope a little harder.
