Shipping engine long block TX to OR

#1 Post by Fred Otjen »

I'm looking for a way to get a 356 engine long block from Texas to Oregon. Is someone on the forum traveling that direction? Or suggestions on a reasonable carrier would be appreciated.

Shrink wrap and Palletize it. Then build a frame around and over it, a strong one, so if they put another pallet on top of it it can support the weight. Cover the frame with plywood or heavy cardboard. Mark the outside "TOP LOAD ONLY" on all five sides.

Make sure to crate it, here are instructions how.

Then call my man David.

My crates have gone all over the world and never failed. Start with a good strong pallet.
