Phrase on Kardex translation please

#1 Post by Larry Brooks »

I just got a Kardex for a Cab that I just bought and it has a stamped couple of words I haven't seen before next to the service notations.

Can someone translate?

Hi Larry
Radschrauben means wheel nuts.
Ausgewaechaselt means exchanged.
I dont know if Tellerrad refers to a special wheel, in German Teller means Plate like dinner plate

This occurs on a many Kardex`s, all around the same date

My translation of this is that it was a change of the Crownwheel bolts - "Porsche we have a problem"

Thanks Mike.

I remember hearing something about that problem decades ago.

Those numbers are between May 1962 to March 1963. I need to check the service bulletins to see which change they made.

Tellerrand = Ring gear. Schrauben = screws/bolts

The Kardex for my car, #213532, build date May 30, 1963, does not have that notation.

It would seem that the ring gear to differential housing bolts were replaced in Dec. 1963.
A bad batch of bolts ?
