Hi Alex
A very neat installation, But I wondered if its location makes access to the R/H Carb difficult. Also it does look like it doesn't belong there!
On the 912 engine we are running, we have a remote mounted alloy catch tank with breather. This is mounted on the rear tin ( Pulley end), rubber hoses connect both heads via T pieces and the oil filler can.

I've never had a 2133cc motor, so I should probably shut up right here...
But, to try to make up for my rather "sassy" comment above, I can offer that, back in the day, I tried about every type and size of crankcase breather imaginable. I even had one set up with a fan trying to suck the stuff out. What a mess! I found nothing worked better for my use (7000+rpm) than an early flip-top filler can vented straight down as stock, along with the stock, vented valve covers. A larger volume can didn't really help. A late filler can worked OK too, if vented down the same way. Adding a few inches of hose to the vent tube lessened the oil mist trapped under the car. S90 valve covers with the ball-valves also worked well, but as I remember, interfere with a reinforcing wedge that was added to the later heads. All vented valve covers make a bit of a mess. Many like 912 covers for street cars because they have no vents to spew oil around, but the point here is that you want more venting.
I never used any sort of closed system because they just make a gooey mess of the right carb. Such plumbing looks funny on a 356, and was only required on later 912s.
Best of luck on your quest for better crankcase venting. I'm sure Cliff will have some more thoughts on this.
