Greetings All, In the process of changing my dead battery in my 65 sc cab,I noticed a wire without a fitting. It has red showing and then covered with a black shielding. Does it go to the positive battery terminal? I can attach a photo, if you can tell me how.
Thanks,
Bob

If when you turn on the ignition you do not have lights then you just found the supply wire to the light switch and power to the dash. It should have a ring terminal to attach it to the Batt + clamp.

Here is a Power Source diagram for the C, which is similar to earlier models.

Thanks everyone for comments and direction. Mistry wire was from an additional set of relays for the headlights! I never found the ring connection for the wire anywhere in the battery compartment. Just back from a wonderful fall drive in San Mateo County.

If those headlight relays were from Joe Leoni's kit, I'd try to use them. They're worthwhile having.
