There is a '63 Karmann Coupe for sale on BAT. I noticed it has a Karmann badge on the lower part of the front fenders. My '65 does not. It just has the badge on the door. Does anyone know if the fender badge came on '65 Karmann cars?

No, the 1965s did not have an external badge. It was discontinued sometime earlier.
