I can only tell you that door frames I have had Christensen's re chrome for me have turned out excellent.
He can repair them if they are bent or cracked
He also will hand file and block sand them properly
This is why it costs more.

To add on to Victor's comments, Christensen's does an excellent job restoring exterior door handles as well. The parts fit perfectly together.
