356 Registry magazine, September / October

#1 Post by Gordon Maltby »

The September / October issue mails today, Friday. We purposely held production back to include coverage of Monterey Car Week, which took place a week later than usual this year. (Thanks to Prescott Kelly and John Hearn who heroically provided text and photos just days after the events ended.) We took this step to avoid having coverage of two big Monterey events in Nov/Dec, where you can read all about Rennsport and the 356 Registry Reunion. Future issues will be back to a schedule of mailing on or around the first of each odd-numbered month.

Thanks to Bruce Sweetman for a great cover shot from the PCA Ozarks Parade

Gordon, you're quick to thank Prescott, John and Bruce for their contributions and they certainly are deserving, but I'd like to thank YOU for all that you've done through the years to provide us with a very high quality magazine. Don't wander so far off into retirement that we don't hear from you in the future.

Cheers,
Wes

Gordon, you're efforts, talent, and warmth are the glue that has been the success of our club for decades. It will not be the same without you. That said the only constant in life is change. Put your feet up, and enjoy life with Lonnie. Hopefully the four of us can get together in the future.

Gordon,

Thanks for your encouragement and patience with me through the years.
You are thoughtful and industrious and we will miss you. But you have given so
much to us through the years and earned the right to be released to search out
new adventures.

A big THANK YOU, Gordon!

Folks:

Because this thread's title no longer reflects its main topic, I just started a new thread, "Thank You, Gordon Maltby", so perhaps some of these kudos can be transferred there.

Frank
