Stoddard GLASS rear reflectors
I've just purchased the glass version of the rear reflectors from Stoddard's. They claim to be concourse correct. Does anyone know if these should have rear markings as do the plastic lensed. For example ULO and No135. Or does this version - to be concourse correct - only have the K1315 on the glass.
I've just checked an original glass SWF. It shows a small SWF logo in the upper middle area just above the stud on the back. The Stoddard's version don't.
So to summarize ULO is one manufacturer and SWF is another. The Stoddard's versions aren't 100% concourse correct.

I've seen originals with the small SWF stamped backs… and I've seen originals with unstamped backs.

It is concours correct not concourse correct. See the following timely post:

But to answer your question. I have owned both types of 1315 glass reflectors and currently have the ones with the SWF stamped on the back on my 1959 Convertible D. I have been told that the ones with the SWF logo are the rarer of the two. FYI, there were two different 1315 glass reflectors, one had a larger font than the other. The large font 1315s were for the later A cars, and the small font 1315s were for the earlier A cars. If I a not mistaken, Stoddard sells the small font 1315s.

Re: Stoddard GLASS rear reflectors
The early K1315 SWF reflectors which started being used in 1954 did not have SWF stamped on the back.
The reproductions are quite nice.

And James,
The first glass reflectors did not have any writing on them like K1315

Re: Stoddard GLASS rear reflectors
Correct Ibrahim.
1952 to mid-1953: no writing
mid-1953 to early 1954: K1262
early 1954 through ?: K1315, small text
? to ?: K1315, large text
The earliest reflectors (no K number and K1262) had a different waffle pattern on them too. Rotated 90 degrees from that of the K1315 ones. Though there was some variation.

Re: Stoddard GLASS rear reflectors
Further update on SWF " CONCOURS " correct reflectors. I've also been sent two different coloured or as you yanks spell it colored lenses. One is a deeper red than the other. Quality control - must of had the day off!
