Porsche Speedster 84858

#1 Post by Rusty Ferrell »

This was my old speedster that I sold in the early 90s, I believe it went to Italy. The Speedster roll bar was from Bill Jones, removable as the GT.
84858 Are you still out there?

One of the very last speedsters. Was it a 58 or 1959?

Jay, it was a 58, I'm pretty sure one of the last 100 built. Restoration was one of many horror stories as the my car was used as a donor car for the owner of the founder of Word Perfect for his Speedster.

84922 is the last regular ('58) Speedster. But there were a few more ('59) pushrod GTs and some Carreras too.
