Guys,
Several years ago I repaired the parking brake using a great step by step tutorial that someone put together. I now have to repair the same on our '57 coupe, but I can't seem to find that tutorial for the life of me. Does anyone have a link to it?
Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about the wacky stack of washers and spring that hold the handle out? It's like the secret handshake of the Masons. Is that in the up-fixin books? Remember to put the correct direction of twist in the cable before attaching the clevis.

Re: Parking brake repair tutorial
I just finished reassembling a parking brake. The parts diagram shows the sequence of the parts but not the orientation of the pointer. I figured it out looking at an assembled unit.
Many thanks for the tutorial!
Mike
