Stock muffler clamps....

#1 Post by Greg Stout »

I just want to give a shout out to the new clamps I got from a well known L.A. area supplier....
They are made by JP Group a/s in Denmark/Germany, and are their part # 1621400400
These will not satisfy anyones need to be 'original' BUT, they WILL satisfy one's need for a really secure, leakproof connection between the J-tube and the muffler AND the two "S" tail pipes and the muffler. They are industrial strength beasties, twice as thick and half again wider then the factory ones. They are secured with 16-17 MM ATF bolts/nuts and completely cover the slits in the muffler to J-tube area. Like I said, not original, but they really do the job they are asked to do.
I give them 5 stars !!!!! :P
