We were very fortunate to have Mike as a member of the Drei Staaten Gruppe based here in Cincinnati. He was always happy to help with advice or repairs on our wacky little cars. His spot at Hershey backed up to ours for many years and we always enjoyed his company. He is very much missed.

Whenever I walk by my Cab, I can’t help but think of Mike. He is the one who introduced me to the cars and the hobby. When I first expressed an interest in finding out more, he said there were two places to start. Join the Registry and attend a Holiday. Thank you Max for posting the picture.

I spent over two weeks with Mike at the Registry holiday and the Porsche event at Leguna Seca. There was no end of enjoyment. What an adventure riding in Mikes toolbox (AKA-Speedster) All the Porsche stalwarts from Europe and the US were there. al zim

Ironically, just last evening, my Friend Spike Jones, was showing me photos of his Ivory '58 Cab, back when he first restored it, at Steamboat Springs, and Mike's black Speedster, was there...

Spike is just now putting break in miles on the engine, which he recently went through, good work, if you can get it!

Mike inspired, and shamed us all...

I got to know Mike during our racing days in the 60's and having a great time running our Speedsters on weekdays and driving to work during the week until we had a regular car while our Speedsters needed some attention.

All is well down here, Mike and I'm sure you and Judy are doing well together up there.

RIP,
Dick

Max,
Trying to hold on to "The Speedster" ( as Mike called ) have few high $$ 356 projects looking for new takers...
Here is a little advice :
Never ever build a new home in cash, without bank loan and add 30% more to your final estimate , " Money goes so fast "

Ibrahim you've had some great cars over the years ,I'm sorry I didn't buy that wonderful little ruby red (63 S90)Cabriolet when it was offered by you some 6 or 7 years ago. You certainly have a nack for finding them.

Good luck with everything and hope you can retain Mikes Speedster.
