Pierre,
If you live at 7000' the only change would a step larger for the air correction jet.
Installing smaller venturi could boost low end performance.
You can advance the ignition timing without detonation.
The loss of power is not recoverable except for pressurized induction.

If I had known I would live this long I would have pushed the envelope a little harder.

I lived in Colorado at 6000 feet for 14 years. I went from 130's (1600S spec) to 120's. The rule from Porsche is reduce .05 for every 3000 feet. If your displacement is 1720 you could go to 115's. I kept it a little rich because I was not always at 6000 feet. Always check your plugs to make sure you are not running too lean. If fact, I carried 125's and 130's so I could change jets to match my altitude because I drove all over the country while I lived there. I did not have to change the air correction jets.
