Positive feedback on newer chrome shop in Georgia

#1 Post by David Campbell »

I decided to have the bumper guards rechromed after checking out a newer shop that just happened to open close to me.
A friend who restores Pierce-Arrows and other antique autos recommended them.

Initially I thought about reproductions from our trusted vendors, but I knew the originals fit very well.

I picked them up this afternoon. It was a 16 day turnaround and the up-front pricing was $600 for all 8 pieces. I'm very impressed with the results. The owner explained the entire process and the nuances of plating, especially the copper work.

I'm passing the reference on in case someone is looking for metal repair and plating services. I have no other interests other than as a satisfied customer.

Thanks, David. Good to know a shop in the South.

Can you post some pics of the chrome? Sounds like a good resource.

Adam, here are two photos from my workshop. The lighting does not do them justice.

The story is that Corey honed his skills with another premium plating service and learned the chemistry behind the craft.

He's stepping out with a young family, mortgage and car payment. I think they're also doing a good bit of third party polishing work for other restoration shops, but that's to pay bills.

They are not doing any car rims but have done some disassembled motorcycle rims.
