Leather Trunk in the Frunk

#1 Post by Devin Holmes »

I saw this picture on the Stoddard site and was wondering if anyone knew where I might be able to get the leather trunk/suitcase. The folks at Stoddard didn't know where it had come from.

Dunno if that's one of them, but the factory offered fitted luggage at the time.

Same idea as original but leather is too smooth. See http://jngcreations.com/tag/luggage/ for current reproductions. Also, there are others on the internet doing "fitted luggage" for classic cars.

Regarding Brad Ripley's comment, Jean-Noel of JNG Creations is located in Pittsboro, NC and does top-end leather and upholstery work for world class restorations. He is expensive but worth it, and he has done interior work for members of our local PCA club, including 356s. His stuff is awesome. He is a great guy running a small shop.
