value of Mahle pistons and cylinders, 1965 C engine

#1 Post by al kuresman »

Hi,
When I bought my 1965 coupe the inspection revealed weak cylinder #1, compression was 80 while the others were 120, 120. 125. After 2 years of regular driving I sent it to the engine doctor for a refresh and am getting the car back next week. #1 cylinder had valve with hole burned through it. Since I will not need the original Mahle P & C set that came with the car I would like member idea of value so I can pass them on. They are original, still in the box and proper for the C engine - 75 hp. Part #616 103 906 01. Came with the car along with a number of other parts collected by the owner of 47 years. Stoddard only has p & c for the SC engine and big bore but none for the C engine. Internet search showed prices all over the map and few were the 616 103 906 01 set. Any ideas?

If I had known I would live this long I would have pushed the envelope a little harder.
