Re: QuikLift! Anyone Got One.
Assume you are asking about a Quick Jack like Pelican Parts sales? I looked at the jack, and really couldn't find a way to use it under a 356 where I wanted to jack from, unless I was to make some cross braces to pick up structural jack points. Called them and they had the same conclusion. They also said they don't recommend turning it 90 degrees. I didn't see a problem doing that, but maybe there there is a reason outside of a legal one. Under our '89 911 it looked like it would work fine.
If you find a good way to use, please post.

I've lifted my 356 with a quick jack. I use a small piece of 2X4 with a slot cut in it for the pinch welds.

My body man has a more sophisticated version - It's a Titan scissor lift that works really well.

He was using it to detail my car before its appearance at Amelia Island this past March.
