Lap Belts

#1 Post by Scott Ramsay »

I recently purchased my first 356, THANKS DOUG MAC for the assistance! I would like to look into a better restraint system for front driver and passenger as I am using this as a daily driver. She is a dream to drive as you all already know! Would also like something for rear seats so I can get kids in there for short errands around our neighborhood (2-3 miles). I was given the name of a shop in Bloomington, MN (Justin at Smart Express - formerly Dick's & Rick's Upholstery). Does anybody have any experience in MN or have a recommendation for me? Any other thoughts or comments are certainly welcome. Thanks! OH, this is a 1963 Super 90

https://porsche356registry.org/article/33 and viewtopic.php?f=1&t=45254&hilit=seat+belts Some reading for you Scott. Do you have stock 2 point belts now? For the front you might want to consider 3 point belts-either original type or retracting. Rears never had provision for belts but maybe someone has mocked some up. But without reinforcement I would think rear belts would be for visual restraint vs real restraint. http://www.andoverrestraints.com Vendor for seatbelts. And a picture of my front belts
