Also, the regular distributor points have the 0,4mm blade/spring, but "floating points" @ high RPMs can be eliminated
w/the Bosch IK-11 0,5mm blade/spring used in the early 911s. I use the Bosch grease for the cam lube.

Caution: Years ago, some points had a white Nylon rubbing block riding on the cam; Don't use since they didn't last long!

He probably means the felt pad in the center of the shaft.
Some days it's just not worth chewing through the restraints.....
