Silver Engine Tin

#1 Post by Jay Wiener »

Ok, so I know the Silver engine tin denotes "super" for the A cars. When did this end and all the tins later became silver?

Normals were always black. 912s are black.

Supers were Silver thru the T6B; Then light Gray on the C/SCs, and back to Black on the 912s.

Only for 1-year; I was refering to the late T1 into the T2--I haven't any '56 Super rebuilds according to my archives of 56+ years.
